Nvidia likely to surpass Apple soon
Chip maker Nvidia could soon overtake Apple to become the world's second-most valuable company. Nvidia is benefiting more than Wall Street's biggest firms in year-on-year growth in adoption of AI applications. News Reuters.
All artificial intelligence applications such as OpenAI's ChatGPT rely on Nvidia's high-end chips. And as a result, the company's market value has tripled to $2.68 trillion in the last year.
Apple ceded the top spot to Microsoft earlier this year due to declining iPhone demand and strong competition in the Chinese market. The company's last market value was $2.92 trillion.
